Rich's Buffalo Tour of Peru - 2002
Welcome to my web site all about my trip through Peru from Lima to Cuzco and the Inca Trail
Latest addition: Piccy from Warwick on the Sacsayhuamen page of white water rafting group in wetsuits.
This holiday was an overland trip in a truck, fully equipped for wilderness camping.
We started in Lima on August the 18th, travelled down the coast via Ica and Nazca and on to visit the colonial city of Arequipa.
From Arequipa we travelled up into the Andes, stopping at the Colca canyon to see Andean Condors and then heading on to Cuzco.
At Cuzco we joined up with 17 more people who were all walking the Inca Trail with us. The climax of the Inca trail was the lost Inca city of Machu Picchu.
I finished my holiday back in Cuzco on the 10th of September, whilst most of the rest of the group continued on to Lake Titicaca and La Paz in Bolivia.
A big hello to all the other group members I travelled with in Peru.
They are (from left to right in the photo) Blair, Brian, Kate, Paola (hiden behind Kate), Warwick, John,
Tom (also hidden), Harriet, Allan, Anders, Marie, Raj, Rachna, Francis, Milan, me, Simon, Bronwyn, Polly (Carl),
Heather, Nicola, Ben, Jay and Trig (Richard)
